Snip-A-Kit Spay/Neuter Program

Snip-A-Kit

The simplest way to achieve the Brevard County shelters’ goal of becoming no-kill facilities is to stop the influx of unwanted animals. And the simplest solution to this daily flood of unwanted animals is spaying or neutering our pets.

Brevard ASAP Inc. is sponsoring a spay/neuter program for Cats in Brevard County.

Why Cats?

On average, twice as many cats vs. dogs are euthanized at Brevard County animal shelters.

In January 2012, 281 cats were euthanized at the North and South shelters vs. 126 dogs.

There are many medical and behavioral benefits to having your cat spayed or neutered:

  • Decreasing population
  • Elimination of sexual frustration and aggression
  • Improved health for your pet
  • Covenience to owner

Donations toward this program will be used for spay/neuter procedures on Cats owned by low-income and other residents of Brevard County FL.
